Asbru is the rainbow bridge in Norse mythology which leads the way to Asgard, the place of the Aesir gods, guarded by Heimdall. Asbru Stud is run by Lucy Heath in South Lincolnshire, breeding Russian blues and Russian blue Essex. My aims are to breed pets with wonderful temperament and health, as well as rats suitable for showing. Asbru is an NFRS registered stud name, thanks to my Russian blue Essex doe, Dakota, making it to silver champion in October 2006.
I am a member of the National Fancy Rat Society, the North of England Rat Society, the Midlands Rat Club, the London and Southern Counties Mouse and Rat Club and the Scottish Rat Club, and show regularly - see my Show Calendar and Show Results. I am a trainee NFRS judge and membership secretary of the North of England Rat Society.
